Who This Policy Applies To
This Privacy Policy applies to information handled through The Red Imprints website and registration system for the Garba in AC Dome event organized by J Shri Event Private Limited.
Information We Collect
Depending on the registration or support flow, we may collect:
- name, gender/pass selection, date of birth and other participant details entered by you;
- mobile number, WhatsApp number and email address;
- Aadhaar number and the Aadhaar document image submitted during registration;
- booking/registration ID, pass type, amounts, GST details and payment references/status;
- support communications and basic technical/security records generated by the website.
We do not ask you to provide payment card, UPI PIN or banking credentials directly to our website.
Aadhaar & Identity Information
Aadhaar details are collected for participant administration and identity-related event-entry management. In the current flow, the Aadhaar information and document are submitted directly by the participant.
The Aadhaar number is stored in encrypted form within the application. Uploaded identity documents are stored in private application storage and are intended to be available only to authorised administrative personnel with a legitimate operational need.
Why We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- create, manage and support your registration;
- associate the participant with the selected pass and booking reference;
- manage identity submission and event entry;
- create and reconcile payment requests and refunds where applicable;
- send registration confirmations and important event or entry updates;
- prevent duplicate, fraudulent or unauthorised use of registrations/passes;
- respond to support requests and comply with applicable legal obligations.
Payments & Razorpay
Payments are processed using Razorpay. Depending on the active payment flow, you may be redirected to a Razorpay-hosted checkout or payment-link page. Razorpay processes payment credentials under its own systems and policies. We retain transaction references, status and amounts needed to reconcile your registration, but we do not store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN or banking password.
Who May Receive Information
Information may be shared only as reasonably necessary with service providers supporting the website, hosting, payments, email/WhatsApp communications or event operations, and with authorised event personnel on a need-to-know basis. We may also disclose information where required by law, legal process or a competent authority.
We do not sell registration information to advertisers.
Security
We use administrative and technical controls appropriate to the current system, including restricted access for identity documents, encrypted storage for the Aadhaar number, private file storage and controlled administrative access. No online system can guarantee absolute security, so access should remain limited to information genuinely required for event operations.
Retention & Deletion
We retain registration, transaction and support records only for as long as reasonably required for event operations, payment/refund reconciliation, dispute handling and applicable accounting or legal requirements.
Identity-document copies are not intended to be retained indefinitely. They should be reviewed for secure deletion after event operations and any necessary dispute or compliance period have concluded, unless continued retention is required by applicable law.
Your Choices & Requests
You may contact us to request correction of inaccurate registration information or to ask about deletion of information where deletion is operationally and legally permitted. Certain transaction or accounting records may need to be retained even after another part of a registration record is removed.
Communications
We may send transactional or event-related messages using the contact information you provide, including confirmation, payment, support, entry and important event updates. Promotional communications, if used, should be managed separately from messages necessary to service an existing registration.
